I made sure to do my homework in the evenings. Overall, I had a fulfilling and joyful holiday.

Last summer vacation, my family and I traveled to Qingdao by train. The trip was comfortable with sunshine and fresh air. We went to the seaside where the sea was as blue as the sky. Bathing in the sunshine on the beach was truly enjoyable. I collected many colorful shells with my little sister. We also bought numerous interesting souvenirs, planning to share them with our friends. The food in Qingdao was delicious, with fish, shrimps, and other delicacies. August 14th, 2006, was a very special day for me. I took a train to Beijing, the capital of China, and I was overjoyed. Beijing is one of the largest cities in China with numerous places of interest, including the Palace Museum, the Summer Palace, and the Great Wall.
